The medicine cabinet is a weird concept if you really think about it 0

I don't have one in my home, because we have a really big mirror where the medicine cabinet would have been. But, I'm guessing that most homes have a medicine cabinet over the bathroom sink.

For some reason, the other day I was thinking about how weird it is to have a hidden cabinet behind your bathroom mirror. Come on. Now that you have thought about it, don't you find it weird? Why would someone find it necessary to build a space in the bathroom for people to store their medicine? Just how much medicine were people taking when they built medicine cabinets, and is there a reason that they just couldn't store them elsewhere? Was it really that big of an issue?

I hardly ever used the one that we had in our home when I was growing up. I used it so little that when I moved into my first place, I didn't even realize until I was moving out that there was a medicine cabinet. LOL. But, then, that could just be the fact that I'm oblivious to everything and everyone around me.

Have you seen Björk’s movie Dancer in the Dark? 0

I'm watching Monster starring Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci and for some reason, it made me think of the movie Björk's movie Dancer in the Dark. I first saw it last year and was blown away.

Until I saw Dancer in the Dark, I only knew Björk as the singer that showed up to an awards ceremony in a swan dress. I'd never heard any of her music. As it turns out, she's pretty good. Her music is different. She has a really raspy voice, which I love.

Dancer in the Dark was amazing, too. It's a musical, although I don't really want to refer to it as that. When I think of musicals, I think of Grease. Dancer in the Dark is the story of a poor single mom who is losing her vision. Throughout the movie, she tries to save money for her son to have an operation that will prevent him from losing his vision, too.

Here's the thing. I don't watch musicals and I don't watch movies more than once. I watched this three twice. It's that good. The good storyline, the good music - sung by a good artist. It's a perfect combination.

I want to show you my two favorite scenes from the movie. They're in the two YouTube videos below, but don't watch if you've never seen it before or don't want to know how it ends, because they're from the end of the movie. In fact, the second clip is actually the very end of the movie and the still image that's on the YouTube video gives away a lot. So, don't look down if you don't want to ruin the movie for yourself.

Patrick Swayze continuing treatment for cancer, despite tabloid reports 0

I literally got sick to my stomache when I read a headline that stated that Patrick Swayze chose to stop receiving cancer treatment after his doctor told him that his time was running out. Then, I saw that it was from a British tabloid site, dailymail.co.uk

FOXNews.com reported that Patrick Swayze's publicist, Jayme Philips said that Patrick is "continuing his treatment." I hope that is the case. I believe that last year, his camp denied that he had cancer. I'm not bashing them for that, because it was leaked in the first place and that is a private matter. I just hope that his publicist is telling the truth about him not giving up. Hang in there, Patrick!
