As I Watch

Dammit! I’m a Desperate Housewives fan

I’m already searching through my TV guide so that I can program my television to record it. I doubt that I will watch the newer seasons yet. I want to finish watching this season.

I’m so mad, though, because I missed the first 10 minutes of today’s rerun. Yesterday, I watched what I just found out was the season finale of the 3rd season. If you watch, you already know what I’m referring to. If you don’t, I don’t want to spoil it for you. Anyway, I just read a review of the first 10 minutes that I missed. The writers of Desperate Housewives sure do put a lot in 10 minutes. I hate that I missed it. It sounded good.

Anyway, that’s what I’m doing right now; watching the 1st episode of the 4th season of Desperate Housewives, and I love it!

So, why did it take me four whole years to even look at Desperate Housewives? (Seriously, I never even took a little peak at it). From the moment ABC started promoting the hell out of this show, it was my intention to not watch the show. I just didn’t like the way that they were claiming that it was the best damn show on Earth. The network hyped it more than the actual viewers. And, it all seemed just like a fad. I usually try to stay away from shows like that; shows that I think everyone likes just because they’re being told that it’s a good show. I’ve always been that way; not just about television; in life in general. So, yeah. That’s why I haven’t watched it in four years.

I forgot what caught my eye the other day…Oh, yeah. I remember. It was a scene between Edie and the cook. They were having dinner the night that they got robbed. That scene didn’t seem as cheesy as the network had hyped the show up to be, so I kept watching.
